Let's learn how AI really works.
Not a boring textbook. You'll play with it. Make it guess. Watch it mess up. Then you'll know things about AI that most grown-ups don't.
Each room is a short hands-on activity — you figure out how AI works by doing it, not by reading about it.
Where do I start?
Pick what fits. You can always go anywhere — this is just a suggestion.
The rooms
Seven rooms. Walk them in order, or skip around — each one stands on its own.
Why I built this
I'm a father of four boys and the IT director for a non-profit, where I use AI nearly every day to do things our small team would otherwise take years to do. I wanted to pass what I've learned on to my own kids — and when I went looking for something to use, I found that good information about AI, genuinely researched and free of any agenda, was surprisingly hard to find. So I built it. No ads, no sign-up, nothing collected, nothing for sale — just an honest look at how this actually works, for my kids and yours.
For grown-ups reading over a shoulder
This site is being built with care. Nothing is tracked, no accounts are needed, and nothing a kid types leaves their browser. Every activity comes from an established K-12 AI framework (AI4K12), and every claim has a source. It's classroom-safe and AI4K12-aligned today — no login, nothing collected — and we keep improving it with educator feedback. See For Grown-ups for the full approach, or Privacy for the data stance.
